Hannah went to two pumpkin patches this month. Both were great local patches at churches in our area. She loved collecting and choosing just the right pumpkins to paint later on this month. We have been reading about the life of a pumpkin from a seed to a full grown vegetable. I recommend the The Pumpkin Patch Parable by Liz Curtis Higgs. It relays a great message about a farmer turning a simple pumpkin into a simply glorious sight, just as God's transforming love within us fills our hearts with joy and light.
